Salaam from India - Christmas

December 24, 2007 email #Christmas
Well guys,
I had one of my angels all ready to put in this email, BUT for some reason that this little techy brain will not be able to fix, it won’t go in........soooooooo MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR from India. Next year I will send out cards again. Snail mail is more my style at Christmas.
We will be spending it alone here at the campus. Everyone is gone for holiday and Loren and I are the keepers of the fort!!!! We did go to a Nagpur Rotary Christmas eating party last night. It was fun to see how they decorate for Christmas. They even had an Indian Santa Claus. It was held in a park and they complete surrounded the area with lights and fabric walls. There were tons of stalls selling their version of food from other countries. Loren got an American hot dog....oh my was it disgusting. Most of the food was great though. Ashok and his friends just kept buying and buying and then everyone shared “family style.” Naturally, there were fireworks, LOUD music and games. I won a couple of things.
Again, thank you for all your encouraging words lately and throughout this year. May we all remember the Reason for this Season.
